Monika Wiatrowska (say: Moh-nee-kah Vee-ah-trov-ska) is a stylist, photographer, designer/strategist and art director based in Vancouver, Canada.
She started out professionally as a self-taught print graphic designer, and branched out into art direction and photo shoot production early in her career. Photography is her favourite medium, and has been a constant practice for visual experimentation and journaling since she was a teen.
Monika’s process is fueled by her love of natural history and human culture, and imagines her work as a dynamic balancing act between them.
Monika has an MS in Strategic Design and Management from Parsons School of Design, and a BA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of British Columbia.
